Carrington school - Constructive Teaching Centre

The Constructive Teaching Centre is a continuation of the training school for teachers of the Alexander Technique that was started by F.M. Alexander in 1931 in London. Walter Carrington joined this training course in 1936 and qualified in 1939. He continued to work with F.M. Alexander as a teacher on the course until F.M. died in 1955. After F.M.’s death, Walter Carrington continued the training course. Today a number of excellent teachers carry on the work.
